- Jumping and Obstacles (MTB Hopper) 1pm-3:30pm (This will be held at St Philip's College)

Would your child like to get better at mountain biking, more confidence, better understand the importance of balance, braking, attack position, cornering, uphill riding, jumping and more? Would your child like to have fun riding with others kids their age while learning about mountain biking? Well here is the opportunity. CARR MTB Club is very excited and proud to offer for the FIRST TIME a series of mountain bike skills sessions to 7-12 year olds in Alice Springs. This is the next step in developing CARR's junior mountain bike program. CARR members are entitled to a 50% discount on session fees reducing price from $60 to $30. The award-winning Redback MTB stage race will be back bigger than ever in Alice Springs in 2019. The race with 4-days and 6-stages of mountain biking comes with an all NEW Stage 1 course. More information and registration at:

When: 1 September 2019 - briefing commences at 7.30am
Details: There are no set courses but points are allocated according to distance from start and difficulty. This event is for all abilities. Basic map reading and navigating skills will assist but briefing will assist participants in their understanding. REGISTER HERE
