A reminder to all CARR club members of unauthorised trail building. Land in and around Alice Springs is subject to a number sensitive issues relating to traditional ownership, sacred sites as well as unmarked private land. This means that any new trail will be subject to scrutiny from a number of government and private interests.

If you are thinking of building any new trail, please seek professional advice from NT Parks and Wildlife, Dept of Lands and Planning or the Dept of Infrastructre and Planning before going ahead with any works. The club can also assist with the relevant authorities in obtaining the necessary permits and approvals, so please email to club for further advice.
The Central Australian Rough Riders are proud to announce our Level 2 Good Sports accreditiation.
Good Sports is an organisation that promotes a healthy lifestyle in our community.
As a result, we ask that our members refrain from dinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes around our event locations and our volunteers.
