We held our AGM on the 11 August 2019 at the Telegraph Station, following The Easy Carwash Easy Sunday Special Ride with Coffee and Cake. As a club, we are fortunate to have the support of volunteers as committee members, to assist with the preparation and conducting of club events, and be largely involved with Parks and Wildlife NT in maintaining the tracks around Alice Springs. We wish to thank all our members for their continued support over the last year. We also wish to give a big thank you to the 2018/19 committee members for their tremendous work and dedication over the last year. Finally, a very big welcome to the new committee (although not much has changed, some have stepped into new roles) - 2019/20 looks very exciting and we are lucky to have you on board.

Thank you to all those that attended the AGM and joined in on the MTB Projects Workshop afterwards. More information from this to come...

A reminder to all CARR club members of unauthorised trail building. Land in and around Alice Springs is subject to a number of sensitive issues relating to traditional ownership, sacred sites as well as unmarked private land. This means that any new trail will be subject to scrutiny from a number of government and private interests.

If you are thinking of building any new trail, please seek professional advice from NT Parks and Wildlife, Dept of Lands and Planning or the Dept of Infrastructure and Planning before going ahead with any works. The club can assist with the relevant authorities in obtaining the necessary permits and approvals, so please email the club for further advice.
