EASTSIDE TRACK DEVELOPMENT
CARR Community Consultation with Marty Krieg from Parks and Wildlife about the Eastside Trail development proposal for the next steps in our trail network in Alice Springs.
Thanks for Input from Georgina Landy, Rachel Taylor, Nigel Moody, Marty Krieg, Emma Shearer, Dave Atkins, Jessica Tudor, Stephen Brady.
In short the trail network is in good hands with minor improvements for sustainability of existing trail and the addition of multiple black trails. In view of the recent Westside works we are looking forward to watching the network develop.
Happy riding to all

ALL ABOUT ALICE
Check out the recent AMB magazine for the write up on All About Alice

UNAUTHORISED TRAIL BUILDING
A reminder to all CARR club members of unauthorised trail building. Land in and around Alice Springs is subject to a number of sensitive issues relating to traditional ownership, sacred sites as well as unmarked private land. This means that any new trail will be subject to scrutiny from a number of government and private interests.

If you are thinking of building any new trail, please seek professional advice from NT Parks and Wildlife, Dept of Lands and Planning or the Dept of Infrastructure and Planning before going ahead with any works. The club can assist with the relevant authorities in obtaining the necessary permits and approvals, so please email the club for further advice.

GOOD SPORTS ACCREDITATION
The Central Australian Rough Riders are proud to announce our Level 2 Good Sports accreditation. Good sports is an organisation that promotes a healthy lifestyle in our community. As a result, we ask that our members refrain from drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes around our event locations and our volunteers.
